6 Common Battery Safety Mistakes And 6 Excellent Solutions

Vape is becoming increasingly popular and there is no denying that youngsters and adults all love to play around with Vape trying new flavors and techniques every now and then. However, there are countless occasions where people begin vaping without knowing understanding the vape first.

This is where the problems begin. People often place the batteries in the wrong position, they overcharge the batteries, do not monitor the flow of flavour, etc. There are countless issues which take place when vapers begin beginning without studying the manual first.

Moreover, the battery inside the vape is a critical part. If vapers do not place the battery on its designated place or position, it might not very well. There are often when ill treatment of battery results into permanent injury. Therefore, it is significant to understand everything about the vape beforehand so that you can encounter any issue if it arises and enjoy to the fullest. Here are some of the common mistakes that vapers make while handling the vape battery:

1.Carrying extra batteries without battery case

Worrying that your vape might lose its charge vapers often carry an extra pair of batteries with them. It is common, and it is alright. Being a strong user of vape people need to take extra measures so that they can enjoy vaping for hours by just replacing the battery.

It is okay to keep an extra pair of batteries with you but it is not okay to completely forget about the other electrical equipment and magnetized material that are available in the same bag. Remember that it is not ideal to keep your battery lose with other stuff in your bag or purse. It will decrease the capability of your battery. After some time, your battery might not work too well.

You can handle this issue by keeping a battery case! Yes, it is as simple as that. There are plenty of options available when it comes to battery cases. There is plastic, silicon, soft, hard and numerous types of battery cases available for you in varying sizes. You can even purchase them from your nearest vape store and use it to secure your battery.

2.Know where your battery goes

We cannot ignore the fact that beginners often get confused where to put the battery in the vape. It might sound easy regarding the placement of battery when in fact it is not. How many times have you tried inserting the battery cells in some toy? Countless times, right? There can be a time when you inserted the battery without taking care of the positive and negative terminal. The similar case can be experienced here but, the battery of a vape is way more critical that that of any insignificant toy.

By inserting the battery in the wrong direction, you might damage the dual parallel mechanical mod. This will vent your battery and will give you another thing to worry about. Beginners often place their battery backwards which reduces the functionality of the vape.

So, to make sure your battery lives longer, remember to pay special attention to where the battery goes and how you need to place it. Do not rush it. Go slow to go fast. Vape stores will be able to easily tell that it is your fault not theirs for giving you a battery that did not function fine in the first place.

3.Not investing in a good vape charger

Quality matters. Just because you have saved a few dollars on a battery charger doesn’t mean it will be worth it. Sad, but true.

Moreover, often vapers try to charge their vape through other battery chargers without knowing the harmful damage that is probable. Using any external cord will harm on battery in various ways. There are many occasions where vapers have also witnessed a physical damage on their respective battery.

Therefore, the perfect solution to this is to always keep your vape charger with you. It is better than using the charger of any other device which isn’t compatible. Do not invest in a cheap charger. Spend one time on a good charger and you are good to go for a long time!

4.Have mercy on your device and don’t overcharge it!

There are many times when we connect the charger to our devices and completely forget about it. The situation is not only carried out with vape. Smartphones and portable speakers along with other electrical devices also fall in the same place.

If your device does not have any battery charging indicator you need to time it. Yes, that’s right. Do not think it is too much effort. If you take care of your vape it will be there for you for longer times.

So, what needs to be done? The answer is simple. Do not overcharge your battery or over-discharge it. Learn a little more about your vape so that you can tell when it reaches a high voltage. If your battery is getting too hot, stop the charging and let it cool down before you begin again. Always note down when the battery is getting low by keeping an eye on the performance of your vape, it will help you know when it’s time to charge it.

5.Do not go overboard by exceeding the amp limit of your battery

It is quite thrilling and fun to impress your buddies and go a little overboard on how low resistance you use it on. If you want to purchase a build that would run on .05 ohms on a single 18650 tube mod, you definitely can, but at a price your vape has to pay. It might seem fun in the beginning, but you are challenging your vape to an extent that it will lose its capability.

When you use your vape at low build the power that your vape consumes is 84 amps and do you know the ideal discharge rate? It is only 64 amps. By doing so you are pushing your vape to its limit which is not justified at all. It will get your vape to turn very hot. The thermal heat is not just good for your vape but, for you either. Have mercy on your poor fingers and let it cool down before you hold it.

If you really want to live by this thrill you can always invest in a better vape that is heat friendly. It might cost you more than the regular vape but it is better to have mercy on the poor vapes that are not designed for low builds.

Moreover, another thing that you can do is by selecting the unregulated mod which is compatible with low builds. You can get a vape with two batteries where the amp will be drawn from two sources. It would help lessen the burden on just one battery. Furthermore, know the science behind your vape. Vapers often rush into using the vape the minute they purchase one. However, it is super important, and one should not take it for granted. The lowest you can go on your vape is 2 ohms. This will draw a current of around 21 amp. Use dual unregulated mod that comes in parallel. They will help prevent your vape from getting too hot and consuming the right amount of power.

6.Make sure your coils do not collide with the top cap

Most of us who love to use vape are not electrical engineers or anything of this short. This is why, we often use our vape the wrong way. Apart from overcharging our vape or placing the battery the wrong way, a major issue arises when the coils in the battery touch the top cap. This situation is not just harmful to your device or your batteries, it also gives a very foul taste.

When the coil meets the top cap a connection is formed between the electrodes. It increases the amount of current that flows and damages the cell up to a great extent. It results in to your vape losing all of its flavour which is not what you want.

So, what needs to be done? The first thing that you will have to do is take your vape to the nearest vape shop and get the coils fixed where the attendant will get the coils back in its place. You cannot do it alone. Even vapers who are aware of some of the electrical ins and outs need not to practice it themselves, visit the attendant.

It is always a good idea to have adequate knowledge concerning the type of vape you are using. Ask question from the shop from where you have purchased the vape. Do not hesitate. You can also try looking up videos and ask friends who have been using it for a long time. Be a part of the vapers community so that you are aware of all the new solutions along with tips which will help you serve better.
